This one was a steal and I paid next to nothing for it. I'm not even sure what it was, but I new it had charm and could be livened up.
This peice had some neat old hardware that had been painted over and was a bit beat up, I decided to nix it. I really wanted to use those cup pull handles. Sometimes I have a one track mind.
I sanded it just enough to my taste for this peice, but a secret helper got bored one day and went perfectionist. I know where I get it from.
After glancing at other blogs, I was inspired by Sarah Wandering's DIY project with two lonely drawers. I've been obsessing over this and keeping my eyes open for some myself. I did score these two open cube shelves that were hurting from another consignment shop. I talked them down and am playing around with them right now.

As for now, she inspired my decision on paint and hardware. Here it is...

Looks terrific...target has legs for cube bins on clearance.....they might work
ReplyDeleteI actually bought some caster wheels for one to see if I like it. I'd like to check out the target legs too though. The wheels can always be used for something else.
